Being outdoors has always meant freedom, fascination, and a sense of calm to me. I love observing nature, discovering its many connections, and gaining a deeper understanding of the world around us. My interest in the natural world has not only shaped my personal interests but also my academic and professional path.
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Protection, I knew I wanted to deepen my knowledge of ecology and focus more closely on environmental and biodiversity conservation. I am especially curious about how species adapt to a changing environment and what we can learn from these changes to better protect nature and biodiversity. As part of my Master thesis, I study snowfinches (Montifringilla nivalis) and investigate how climate change is affecting their morphology and breeding behaviour.
For my future career, I would like to bring together my interest in environmental technology and my fascination for biodiversity, exploring how the two can work hand in hand.
