I am interested in a variety of topics within evolutionary ecology and I am keen on applying research to conservation action. In the past, I have undertaken projects on bird migration, social and mating system evolution, and pollinator interactions. Currently a postdoc in the Ecology Department at Innsbruck University, my research is aimed at better understanding and halting wild bee declines in the Alpine region. Among other aspects, my project explores the competition between honeybees and wild bees, and employs state of the art harmonic radars to track bees in the wild.
