From an early age, I have been deeply interested in nature and already knew back then that I wanted to do something in the field of biology later on. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Cologne. As I became particularly interested in ecology, especially in mountain regions, I moved to Innsbruck to do my Master in Ecology. In my free time, I like being outside or spending time with my cat. During my studies, I started working at the Molecular Ecology research group as a technical assistant, which gives me the opportunity to gain experience in laboratory work and current research.
