I earned my bachelor’s degree in general biology in Vilnius, Lithuania, where I developed an interest in animal ecology. I then completed my master’s degree in animal ecology at Lund University in Sweden, where I also worked as a research assistant both in the laboratory and in the field. My research at Lund focused on avian malaria and green tortoise beetles. Now, I have joined the Molecular Ecology group in Innsbruck as a technical assistant, supporting their current research topics.
