As a master student of Ecology and Biodiversity, my research interests include the conservation of autochthonous fishes and their freshwater environment. Currently, I’m working as a research assistant in the Aquatic Conservation Center of the Agency County Domain (BZ, Italy) on the INTERREG project ALFFA, which aims at a multiscale, holistic analysis of parameters that influence the ichthyofauna in the inner Alpine space. My thesis focuses on the population and conservation genetics of the European bullhead Cottus gobio in the Alpine region of South Tyrol and surroundings.
